Anyone can report something here, member or not. You do not need an account, and you do not need to be the person concerned.

How

Signed in, every profile carries a reporting button that names what is being reported. Otherwise write through the contact form with the address of the page and what you saw.

What can be reported

• Content involving a minor — handled first, and reported to the authorities.
• An image published without consent — handled first.
• Harassment or threats.
• Somebody passing themselves off as another person.
• Spam or attempted fraud.
• Any other unlawful content.

What happens next

A report is recorded and read by hand. The first two categories above go ahead of the queue and are measured in hours rather than days.

A decision is written with its reasons before a report can be closed — the system refuses to close one without them, which is required of us by article 17 of the Digital Services Act. Whoever was reported is told what was decided and why, and can contest it by replying.

Reporting in bad faith

Reports used to harass somebody are themselves a reason to act against the account that sent them.
